Does anyone know what the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) is on a computer? Yesterday and today, after signing on to the internet a Windows Warning Box popped up stating my system will shut down in XXXX seconds. Please save your work, etc.,etc. There was a countdown clock displayed and the message about the RPC at the bottom. The first time I DID shut down and restart.
