Lets hope Mark Cotton answers that question. I have a great Twin States Club Tahoe that has all the matches in it. I wouldn't even think of taking them out. You have to be careful with the old ones if you live in a high humidity area, because the sulphur will leach out into the paper and make a mess, essentially ruining the book. I think the Twin States might be one of the rarest...only open for 6 weeks in 1947. After that the Colonial Club was in there. Right next door was the Circus Room.

Mark Cotton is one of the resident Match experts, so hopefully he will answer your question. He is in the process of putting up a web site to showcase matches. I wish him luck, I think it will be tougher than the trays.
