Looks like a Douglas DC-3 - a real workhorse throughout the 50s. I once flew from France to Greece in one - 12 hour flight. Great matchbook!

By the way Mark - I saw you got the Tahoe Palace Club glass. Was there ever a Palace Club at Tahoe? I have a glass like that from the Reno Palace Club but I've never heard of a Palace Club at Tahoe.
