Or could this be the scenario:

Person buys the chip thinking it was really a Dunes $100 chip (knowing the Dunes is no longer). Either doesn't see the one mention of the word 'fantasy' or does not understand the meaning of it in relation to 'non-authentic' chips. Now is simply reselling it thinking he/she got a great deal on the original auction, and doesn't have any knowledge of the chip market (he only thinks he bought a $100 chip for $5).

The original auction didn't mention that it was a fantasy chip in the title at all, just one time at the top of the description - maybe they didn't see it. I would almost go as far as to say that the original title was a little bit misleading since it mentions the Dunes, Las Vegas, etc. Yes, it's the buyer's responsibility to read the entire description...just giving them the benefit of the doubt.
