"Wendover Will was built in 1952, a year after Vic, and has been lovingly maintained over the years by the family-owned Stateline Hotel and Casino. Below the figure of Will, neon identifies Wendover as "Where the West Begins". Will was named after a family member (the current President's grandfather). When the Stateline expanded in the 1980s, there was talk of replacing the sign but that was quickly squelched."
