I've seen this chip attributed to the Playboy casino in Atlantic City. In fact, one was just offered on ebay where the seller claims to have found it on the beach in Atlantic City with his metal detector... and perhaps so.

I've been asked why this chip does not appear in my "Catalog of Atlantic City Casino Chips & Gaming Tokens?"

The answer is very simple. Atlantic City's Playboy Casino was not open in 1979, the date of the 25th Anniversary of Playboy for which the chip was issued.

Playboy A.C. did not open until April, 1981.
