I agree that you should reveal the names of those who e-mailed you. I'd love to weigh the value of the posts those chicken$hits make on this board against the gaming history contained in yours. I'm guessing the majority of their posts are self-promoting advertisements for their own chip sales.
The thing that keeps most serious chip collectors fired up about this hobby is the fascinating history behind the chips and the places they came from. Ashtrays, matchcovers, postcards, photographs and anything else that originated in or around a casino provides a clue to help understand what a place was like in its heyday. If some people are too shallow and self-absorbed to see that, then they should just shut up and let the rest of us learn.
The idiots who e-mailed you probably would have told Harvey Fuller to get lost when he strayed too far from talking strictly about chips.
