I was pleasantly surprised today when I went to Baltimore to take down the Exhibit I had put up last Wednesday at the 112th Anniversary Convention of the American Numismatic Association. My Exhibit - "Collecting United States Casino Roulette Chips - 'A different Spin" on Casino Chip Collecting - had been judged the best Exhibit in Class 23 - CASINO CHIPS AND GAMING TOKENS. Needless to say, I was very, very happy to win First place. The Exhibit featured seven showcases of roulette chips ( 607 different chips) and other roulette related items from Casinos all over the US. The attached scan shows the Blue Ribbon and Medals that I won. The way I look at, this is a big step forward for all Roulette Collectors to have our section of the Hobby recognized in this manner by the ANA. I also hope that a few people who viewed the Exhibit will be inspired to collect Casino Chips and maybe even Roulette Chips. I love this Hobby !!!
