The discussion is regarding what these chips might be worth to a dealer and what he might persuade collectors to pay for them, given that they were formerly scarce and they have a mold that seems to attract a lot of collectors.
My own opinion is that the buyers overpaid by 2-3 times for a lot of this size with a questionable quantity still to surface. I would agree with Steve's post; these will likely be $40-50 chips for the forseeable future after the few collectors who want new chips at any price are satisfied.
