If the chips will not last long at $90 per chip or $9000 for the box, why did you drop out of the bidding at $3000+ (I don't recall the exact amount).

I'm sure you could have (or would have) split the deal with several other high rollers. It doesn't make sense to drop out, especially if you feel all 100 will be sold quickly. Seems like you just gave away $5000+ profit.
