It's OK to use public money to fund education aimed at a specific belief system only if the adherents to that individual belief system are wealthy enough to partially fund the education on their own?
I guess that makes sense -- since so many conservatives love it when the governemnt gives money to the rich, and hate when they give money to people who really need it.
I'll have to agree with you and plead ignorance for I haven't the foggiest idea what you are talking about. I agree that it is OK for public money (i.e. a voucher) to partially fund a private school education (whether that private institution is Gay High, a Catholic high school or a private school for liberals with mohawks). BTW, in the instant case the government would be giving money to the poor not the rich.
However, while I agree with the concvept of vouchers, I do not believe that the government own the Catholic school or the Gay school or the school for liberals with mohawks. Those particular schools should be run privately.
Since my argument involves vouchers (for POOR people) for all private schools, I don't see why you continue to cite religious institutions only. Then again maybe I do see.
