I'm planning a trip to Las Vegas over the Columbus Day weekend with my wife. With so many hotels and all sorts of room rates, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a good hotel on the strip. I'm looking for a discount room rate (and friendly poker room) and my wife's looking for a great pool. Two other couples are staying at the Bellagio (not sure what rate they're getting). Is there a one-stop shopping site for Vegas rooms or is calling the hotels directly the best bet? Where have folks stayed and enjoyed the accommodations? Thanks in advance for the advice!
