Jack, I remember years ago whereas anyone living in Brooklyn "never" got out of their neighboorhood. Some only saw the Manhattan skyline but never crossed over the bridge.

I use to live on the Concourse (in the 50's) and would never consider going out with anyone that far away. I'll bet most of you New Yorkers had the same experience if you were around during those times.
