The chip was owned by Lammot DuPont. DuPont was a member of the Corinthian Yacht Club in Baltimore, MD. His yacht was the Marmot.

Originally I stated that DuPont belonged to the Norfolk YC. I made this mistake since I misidentified the symbol in the upper left corner of the Yacht Club burgee. The original scan was justy too small and blurry to make an accurate identification.
