Everyone here is willing to help new collectors make intelligent decisions. Sure there are dealers that will take as much as you'll pay them for a chip, but almost all will accept a fair price.

The key is 90%+ of us are NOT dealers. We're hobbyists and collectors who enjoy trading and collecting. Sure we all sell chips we no longer want so we can afford others, but more often than not, we'd rather trade them than sell them.

If there's one thing you don't have to worry much about in this hobby, it's being taken advantage of.
