There were actually 6 chips approved in late 2001. Don't forget the Merchant Marines. A 7th chip approved 8-1-02 was supposed to tie it all together "Support out Troops". All 7 chips were supposed to be mounted in a plaque in the shape of a "V". The last I heard was that they were having trouble with the order of the plaques.
