The Alligator

A nicely dressed fella walks into a bar with an alligator striding by his side. He plops the hefty reptile up on the bar and turns to the astonished patrons.

“I'll make you a deal. I will open this alligator's mouth and place my genitals inside. Then the gator will close his mouth for one minute. He'll then open his mouth and I'll remove my family jewels unscathed. In return for your witnessing this spectacle, I request that each of you buy me a drink."

Not wanting to pass on such an outlandish show, all of the dozen or so members of the crowd quickly murmured their approval.

The man stood up on a chair, dropped his trousers, and placed his privates in the alligator's open mouth. The gator’s huge jaws with a thousand razor-sharp teeth moved quickly at first. The crowd gasped. Then, slowly and gently, the gator closed his mouth and all the masculine parts in question disappeared. The man stood motionless. After a minute, the man slowly picked up a beer bottle and rapped the alligator real hard on its neck. The gator flinched slightly but opened its mouth and the man withdrew his manliness, unscathed, as promised. The crowd burst into cheers and the first of his free drinks was delivered.

After downing a few, the man stood up and made another offer.

"I'll pay $500 to anyone who attempts the same challenge.”

A hush fell over the crowd. Only low, negative mumblings could be heard coming from the dark corners. After a while, a hand went up in the back of the bar. A young blond woman timidly spoke up.

"I’m willing to give it a try, but please don't hit me so hard with that bottle."
