I'd love for somebody to write the software to make it an automatic desktop item you could install if you wanted to. Maybe something that would only pop up once a day.

Currently, the chip of the day box pops up from the javascript language in my chip page and the calendar page. (I recently installed some non-popup software on my browser and it blocks my own popup!)

I doubt that everybody on here would want my chip of the day popping up, so asking Greg to do something on here probably isn't the solution. I'm open to suggestions if anybody has any. A lot of people have contributed scans to the project and it would be nice if it were available in some other way than visiting my website.

Incidentally, it is still an ongoing project. I think I've loaded enough images for most of the year, but I still need to finish about three months worth and get them online before the calendar ticks off too many more months. All scan submissions are welcome. I prefer 300 x 300 size scans of single chips.
