Jeff
I think they arrived this morning - post arrived as I was leaving, so couldn't check through the packages - the suspense is killing me!!
The Waterfront chip is interesting - The Westcliff casino has operated for about 20 years. A few years ago (5 I think - need to check my records) they opened the Waterfront Casino at the other end of the building they occupy - very small (3 roulettes, 1 caribbean poker and 3 blackjack I seem to recall) and advertised it as a quieter play to play. It lasted for nearly 4 years and then closed, and has now been reopened as Spielers, leaning towards a younger market with a few more tables, enlarged sports bar and a small italian/pizza restaurant. The £1 Waterfront chips are, however, still in use in the Westcliff casino on the caribbean poker tables as the foil centres activate the progressive lights. So the casino is closed, but the chip (and only this denomination) is in use - obsolete or not?
Still a nice chip though! Glad you (and your kids) like it.
Jason
