For several years I used my regular email account on the board, mostly without the anti spam measures. I received, and still do receive a plethora of spam (which I intercept with MailWasher) to that address.

After the club mail was discontinued I opened a second account with my ISP using my club address except for the domain. I now post that address on the board with the REMOVE in it. I receive NO spam to that address. Obviously it won't remove you from any existing spam list you're on, but it will prevent any new harvesting of your address when you use it. Hope this helps.
