Yes Authentic = real

I picked up most of mine at coin shows. You'll need to ask at every booth, but they aren't uncommon.

Sometimes you'll find someone with a whole set that they are looking to move, cheap, because of lack of demand from the regular coin collectors.

As for chip and token folks, they are nice and do create interest.
