Not real close to me... 10 - 15 miles I'd guess, but it's hard to tell.
Whats bad, it looks like it could be in an area called Groom Creek - an area with lots of home on 1/4 acre lots - fully wooded. (and I have lots of friends living up there )
Can't seem to find anything out about it yet - hasn't made the news or Forest Dept's news website - but it looked like every emergency vehicle within a 50 mile radius was responding. Was on the hwy and we all just sat on shoulder while car after car and truck after truck screamed by us
AND it's Prescott's Rodeo weekend... LOTS of tourists and campers... surely Arizona needs to be doing something more about curbing the fuel for these wildfires.
