I recall reading about Jill's frustration in trying to find a scanner that would get the pinks correct. You would think I would be smart enough to take her advice. But, NOOOOO-O-O-O!! I had to select my new scanner based on the software that came with it, instead of on Jill's testimony that the Epson Perfection was the only one to get the pinks right.

The scan below is from my brand spanking new Visioneer OneTouch 9020 which came with the Adobe Photoshop Elements I thought I had to have so badly.

The Riviera chip should be a hot flourescent pink, and not the color you see on the screen.

Both of the Union Plaza chips should be flourescent orange, NOT yellow! The one on the right is dirtier, bu they're both supposed to be orange.

The Jerry's Nugget chip should be closer to orange than what you see there.

I've monkeyed with the color balance, but I can't get any of these to their true color.

Any ideas, short of taking the scanner back to the store??
