The Buffet at the Borgata in A.C. is $26.45 per person including tax. Here is my personal report & opinion. The choices are many & varied.I started my dinner with oysters on the half shell. They were on a bed of ice but were almost warm enough to make you think they were cooked. They were garnished with green onions & pimento. Very tasty & tender. Of the many salads to chose from, I selected a shrimp & scallops with onions, green, red,&yellow peppers.this sweet tasting salad was excellent. I also tried some mussels on the half shell. These had a vinegar taste which turned me off to them. Also had some cold shrimp which were decent size, not jumbo& were pelled all but the tail. They were bland in taste with no seasoning. they needed the good coctail sause. Of they many entrees. which included prime rib & roast pork, I selected a sirloin steak which was excellent. Also very good were the deep fried ,lightly breaded scallops. These were of a decent size, and were tender & quite tasty. The vegetables I choose were asparagus which was quite tasty but not cooked enough for me. The corn on the cob was great. You got a full ear not just a portion. It was Jersey White & very sweet, freshly picked & cooked perfectly. There were many choices of Chinese & american & continental foods to choose from. Noticably missing was that there were not any snow crabs. The deserts were varied with many pastry items. I choose a blueberry tart. This was an excellent choice to end my meal. It was iced cold, with excellent crust. The berries were large fresh Jersey, and was on a bed of sweet cream. I rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 an 8. This wine bottle will have a future home in Leo Tans museum. Hope you read this Leo.
