You and Katie, with the assistance of Murph, came up with the color of "NEON MELON" for that poor lil' 500 Harrah's chip? I have the highest respect for the opinions of Katie, Murph , and you too, Jill. It kinda reminds me of what Moses asked God after meeting on top of Mt. Sinai, "Let me get this straight, God, you want us to cut off the ends of our what?????"
I fully agree that colon orange is repulsive and downright sickening. I had selected peach, but I can understand the consensus of the anti-peach movement. Light orange was another possibility, but it, too, had its downsides.
OK, let's consider Neon Melon. The neon part is good, as it was used for awhile by Paulson with its phosphorescent colors of orange, green and pink. They then switched to hot, which appeared about the same time as hot pants.
Now, if we are to use "melon", are we considering cantaloupe, casaba, pumpkin or watermelon? Any except the later should be considered. I would like to suggest another fruity color to the triumvirate----Neon Apricot!!! Apricot is more appetizing than colon and less confusing than melon. It has been used as a definitive color by both Dale Seymour and Don Lueders, for whom I hold the utmost respect. With my tongue firmly pressed against my cheek, I will be anxiously awaiting your opinions.
