I think most "old car buffs" would rather "date" the glamorous models than the postcards!

You're right about the cars, though, there's often one or more that give a clue. My husband can I.D. some of them enough for a "ballpark" date. Sometimes the casinos pictured, especially in street scenes, can help too. It's fun (sometimes frustrating!) trying to figure them out!
