Late in the convention several people asked me if I had heard that the Riviera (site of next year's convention) had filed for bankruptcy protection. Since I hadn't had much time to watch TV, I had not heard this. Looked through both the Vegas papers back to last Wednesday and couldn't find anything regarding the Riv.

I did see were the Castaways had filed for protection last Thursday. I think this must be what people were talking about and got the properties confused. That's the way it usually goes.

If I somehow overlooked any information on the Riviera, can someone please post the link, if one exists. I would like to put this story to rest. Thanks.
