As I'm sure others have found, my first convention was great fun, even though I had to fly back home Thursday afternoon.

Lots of trading, both before the convention and at the Wednesday trade session and lots of new chips on Thursday (although if I had longer I'm sure there would have been plenty more). It can be overwhelming seeing that many chips in one place!

Also great to put faces to many of the names that I've seen on the chipboard and emailed and traded with over the last 18 months since I joined the CCGTCC. I even enjoyed the exerience of my first standing in line for a chip (the Riviera NCV) where I met even more people for the first time!

I've also decided to cut back on some of the areas that I collect - having seen just how many chips in one place at the convention, I figured that collecting LE's would be a never ending aim, so I now have a bunch more traders as I'll be concentrating on house chips only (and of course my UK collection, but there are virtually no LE's here anyway!), so check out my later posts with lots of Nevada LE's for trade!

Finally a big thanks to Ross Poppel and Lenoidas Tan for introducing me to many of the people I met at the convention.
