Well, actually, the truth about the fairness and squarness is that it was nonexistant at the Bank Club! vbg Run by a bunch of gangsters (of the "unorganised crime" varity), you were likely to be cheated on the tables shown.

The '48 Harolds Club is pretty nifty too, haven't seen one like that before. Not much happening at the store, it looks like. Harold S. Smith Sr. had divorced his wife the year before and gave up 50% of his share of the Club to her, making her 1/3 owner with Harold and brother Raymond A. Smith. This lead to a binge of self-pitying gambling, drinking and goofing off. Raymond I. (Pappy) was casino mangager at the time but bought out Dorthy later to keep the Club in the family since Harold's "cowboying" over the years threatened the stablity of the enterprise.
