Will:
Last year was my first convention and I'll let you know the few things I learned.
#1 - bring a backpack or book bag of some type. I had a real problem trying to carry my Chip Rack, binder with all my Chips, my wish list, along with all chips, books, matches, postcards etc.. that I bought.
That brings me to #2...
Make color copies of your chips rather than bringing the chips themselves! Weighs 1/4 the amount and you don't have to worry about their safety!
#3 - Make a wish list! You get very overwhemled at the amount of chips that are displayed and I quickly forgot about looking for certian chips that I really wanted.
#4 - There are at least two of almost every chip at the convention. I made a couple of quick purchases last year and found them a few tables down at lower prices.
#5 - Catch all the morning info seminars. They really were the highlight of my first convention, and should not be missed.
#6 - Get some coffee for the club auction. It has great stuff, but is long and toward the end of a long convention. 3-4 hours a sleep a day really caught up to me on that Friday night last year!
#7 - Enjoy yourself!
That shouldn't be too hard!
See you there!
