My post is not entended to "put down" your efforts involving Nevada Gaming Enforcement. Nevada Gaming Enforcement answers to the Nevada Gaming Control Board who is appointed by the Govenor. Who you met with were probably enforcement agents or clerical staff.

A while back I posted a note stating my opinion WHEN anyone including our club, on an official basis, should contact "Gaming". Obviously, meeting with enforcement agents involving our hobby was not one of them.

What well meaning individuals fail to realize is that enforcement agencies regardless of what YOU may understand are not our "friends". No enforcement agency is our friend. When you meet with representatives of ANY enforcement agency you develop a sense of false security.

Trust me when I say the ONLY purpose of enforcement agencies is to enforce the law, rules, regulations and policies governing "that" agency. To believe otherwise is naive and foolish. The best a person or organization can hope to do is to stay away from them unless you have official business that forces you to deal and/or with work them. I than suggest "YOU" work with them honestly and fully to resolve whatever issue you have brought to them.

I worked with the Internal Revenue Service for over twenty-eight years (28).I often dealt with Gaming involving issues that affected both of the organizations. I was the Internal Revenue Service Gaming Industry Specialist. The funniest thing I can remember was the favorite statement:

Hi, I'm from Internal Revenue and I'm here to help you! You may substitue whatever enforcement agency for the words "Internal Revenue" you wish. The result will be the same. I'm sure you understand. If not. there is nothing further I can add.

Please BOD use your heads! I offer my suggestion with the utmost respect for your efforts. The Trop chip would probably have been approved anyway if you left off the reference to "collectors".
