I wondered much like you about the difference when I first read of it. As much as people tried to explain it, seeing it is the key to understanding. When you see your first shiny hat CJ, you will know the difference. Some scans and photos come close to showing it, but having the chip in your hand and being able to tilt it to reflect the light from the CJ hat is 'bout unmistakable.
