Do you think you could point me in the right direction as far as finding additional info on Mr. Todd (any mob ties, involvement with--or supplying chips for--illegal establishments, etc.)? All I really know is that his company closed shop when he was killed (don't know how) in 1950.
By the way, I think I really stumbled on to something good here--I found the chips at an antique shop in Weston MO. The guy sold me 30 boxes (3000 chips, give or take) for $4 a box. I've shared some of them with the guys I play poker with, but the 7 boxes I kept (6 cream and 1 black) look like they've never been used.
