My Indonesian friends don't make much of Oriental, but prefer Asian. According to the reading, even that is changing. The youngest Brother brought back the Oriental thing from China and college saying "I'm not a rug."

Acquantences that are gay (now there's a word that has changed meaning) call each other and themselves "Q" and the "D" word, but nobody else would dare.

Personally I leave all group coloquial names, racial or ethnic remarks out of my vocabulary, even with my Black friends who call me cracker or honky. We know it's a joke, but someone listening may take offense.

I'm still not PC or a follower of the principles, it's my personal viewpoint and the way I was brought up, treat others the way you would want them to treat you.

In other words, no one else can make fun of me, if I can't make fun of myself as well!
