I found this chip (*) in Pete Rizzo's RR. Does anyone know anything about?

* Since I don't have a scanner I had to create this mock-up of the chip. It isn't exact, but pretty close, so you can get an idea of what it looks like. I was lucky it didn't have a more complex design.
