Since you ask....while I haven't read the original post about the guinea tee, I still have an opinion.

I've been reading the chipboard for close to 2 years now. Archie is one of the most level-headed people on the board. I can't imagine him deliberately or thoughtlessly insulting an entire group of people.

Personally, I could find it rather offensive that Phyllis seems to be calling the entire club (approximately 2800 people?), and everyone on the BBS (maybe 400-600?) a bunch of rude, and/or bigoted, and/or slanderous, and/or mean, and/or offensive people.....because of one comment by Archie, and a dozen or so other comments!! Luckily, for my peace of mind, I'm not offended all that easily.

One more observation....I found it interesting that Phyllis thought Redd Foxx would flatten someone if they called him "N". Having seen Redd's show, I disagree. If you said it with a smile, I think he'd have laughed. At his show he opened by saying that it was his show and he was going to say what he wanted to, and if there was anyone there that took offense, they were free to get up and leave...but don't bother him bitc*ing about it! The show was HYSTERICAL, and a few people DID walk out.
