I have been waiting for two years to attend the ONLY antique show in Knoxville. I couldn't attend last year because some dummy scheduled the convention for the same week! I have never found so much casino stuff at one show ever. Not that it was a fantastic find - just lots of it. One lady had 4 books of matchbooks and was selling them by the book. I almost had to beg to get her to let me pick and choose to get the casino matches. One guy had a half table of casino ashtrays and I got five that I needed and am planning on going back tomorrow with my Andersons book and get a few more. Now for the good stuff. The first 8 chips in the scan is a set of 7 Order of Moose chips with the common back. I am negotiating to get a few more sets if I can. The two Club Lake chips are from Hot Springs, AR and are available at $8 per chip or for trade. The SEAT chip is a new find and has $.50 on the reverse. I am trying to figure out what the initials stand for. I have a few available for $8 or something I need. The rest of the chips and tokens are other things I found at the same show. I almost spent $100 each on two different horse racing machines only to find out that one of them sold for $36 on eBay recently. Very close call on that one but the other machine had a wood base and probably was older. It is likely worth the money.
Need we say it again? THE FUN IS IN THE HUNT!
