In a post below, there was mention of eBay rules against keyword spaming in one's auction description. They are good rules. They are detailed in the link below. Basically, the rules prevent sellers from putting in their auction descriptions words that have little or nothing to do with their particular auctions, words that waste the time of buyers who do keyword searches.

(You can put keywords in your auction description [but not "white on white"]; it is just that the words must be relevant to the particular auction.)
