I went through my entire collection and change the plastic to the brittle one you mentioned no more bleeding. I reserve the use of the soft plastic to the other chips, but ChipCo whatever is the color of the chip goes into the brittle plastic.

I don't agree that you are not an "expert" you are "chipclopedia" a person who is knowledgeable about chips and chip related matters.
