I browse Ebay looking for bargains, and I will just enter the starting bid and hope to get it at that price. But, if it is something I really want, I will place higher proxy bid.
One buyer sniped me on three different auctions. When I found out how to do it, I checked on what he was bidding on, in hopes of returning the favor. He either used Buy it Now, or sniped, every auction that I checked. Just doesn't seem fair.
