Just to throw a little more light on this, a gentlemen sent me an email over the weekend to see if I had any Monaco/MC chips for sale. It was the same story as crw's post (regarding the bet in Germany). I received this on my home PC and am traveling so do not have a name. However I told him I did not.

I also gave him two suggestions:
1 - contact either Fran (Spain) or Carlos (Portugal) and gave him email addresses because... well because they are closer to France than most of us.

2 - post a message here (www.thechipboard.com) because I had seen postings regarding Monaco/MC chips.

I suspect that this was a legitimate request by this gentlemen who thanked me for the info and addresses in a reply.
