He is, however, now thinking about going to airborne training after AIT. And, down the road, trying for warrant officer school and helicopter pilot training.

He got to South Carolina safely and called his wife to report that, so far, things aren't too bad!
Of course, he's still in reception and he doesn't meet his boot sgt until Monday or Tuesday.
