I hope. The first time I got the virus was last April. Here is a short story of how I got the virus, first of all I never used an anti-virus before ever since day ONE of personal computer until I received an invitation for a free anti-virus trial program for 30 days. So I downloaded it. Then I got bombarded with ads here and there which I never have had before. I was already suspecting that it must be the sponsor of the free anti virus program.

I got sick and tired of the pop ups and so many emails of solicitations and ads so I deleted the program going thru the rountine of uninstall. A day or two later I got an email from the sponsor of the anti virus asking me if I am sure that I don't need the protection. Then a few days later I got 42 infected files, emails were sent from my computer using my address book. Sent 20 or 30 emails to everybody in the address book. I got telephone calls friends and several chippers who suggested to "unplug" my computer and not to open it unless I come clean.

My "guesstimated" suspect was my "free benefactor" of the anti-virus program.

I got the Norton Anti-Virus, Firewall and the Internet Security now installed in my computer, so I say "never again" I hope.
