Will,
Let it Ride is a common casino game that uses regular house chips. It's relatively new (early to mid 90s?) and still around. The only chips that I have seen that say "LIR" on them were NCVs used in tournaments. I believe it is one of those patented games where the casinos must lease the tables and/or the name (like Carribean Stud Poker). A dealer once told me how much the casinos paid each month for the rights to use these games and it was a huge amount. The baccarat that I've played also uses house chips, although I have seen many Vegas Baccarat chips. Maybe they're used in the high-roller areas. Hope this helps.
