I didn't expand much on molds in the FAQ because someone has already done a marvelous job of that - instead, I linked to their site under a question about molds.

Inserts on the other hand, are something that I think would be great to expound on. We've had at least one good question on them here on the board yesterday, and I can think of several more! Sometimes, all I need is a little inspiration to get the ol' noggin to churning out the questions.
