Priority Mail costs depend on three things. 1. weight 2. zone 3. size of box. So assuming the weight and box size are the same you sent it thru more zones. The weight is on your reciept. Therefore sending Ca. to Az. is a lot cheaper than Ca. to NY. You can use the USPO cal. ant the USPO web site to verify costs.
