I was also born in NY, during the 30's and therefore had more time to develope my cynicism.

But please don't misunderstand me. Most of us have or have had tragedies of all sorts. But few of us vend them in a public forum. And the older we get, the more tragedies occur. I, for one, prefer to keep my problems to myself. I don't want pity--especially from people I don't even know.
