Oops, I guess I've got about 4 days worth! Anyhoo, got this $1 today and it is really hard-to-find in this condition. A lot of these have no color left in the hotstamp and only a few have a significant fraction of gold remaining. The other side of this piece is down to about 20% or so. Got it from Les Lawrence on eBay. He states that he is selling from an old collection and this seems like something you'd find in a binder rather than for sale. I've been looking for a couple of years and am thrilled to have this pretty!

Another note about Les and his auctions. He is a member. I PayPal'ed Les at 0200 5/22 and USPS put them in my mailbox at 1400 5/23! Granted, Les lives across the river in Vancouver, WA. but STILL!! This is almost as easy as walking to the nearest Starbucks (1.5 blocks, I live in the Pacific Northwest after all. ). Only Les probably doesn't have purple hair or face piercings like a barista would.
