It doesn't seem to be a fruitful project for the amount of time the volunteer(s) spend on it. I know it is a great happening when we have a casino representative at our annual function receiving the Club's "OTY" award, however, based on the limited participation by Club members, are the awards "true" awards for the best "OTY".

I participated in the "OTY" program twice and both times I felt like I was nominating just for the sake of nominating. There are so many chips from so many jurisdictions that it seems impossible to nominate just one or two. Maybe the process should be changed to a nomination committee of VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE collectors to come up with "OTY" nominations for ALL MEMBERS to vote on. Sorry, I do not have an easy answer of "what it will take".
