Phil Ivey was the 10th man out...When they made it to 10 players David Grey was down to $43,000 with Phil having $600,000! It looked like David would be the one to get eliminated. As it turns out the hand below happened.
Phil Ivey is the last player to be eliminated on day 4 of the WSOP Championship event. When the flop came down QQ6 with two spades it was Chris Moneymaker who came out betting $70,000. Phil flat called to see a 9 fall on the turn.
Phil bet all-in and was called quickly by Chris, who held AQ. Phil rolled over 99 to give him a full house but to the dismay of the crowd, an Ace fell on the river giving Chris Queens over Aces
Chris Moneymaker (They say that's his real name) has the chip lead. He qualified for the tournament online at Pokerstars & says this is his FIRST live tournament!
